Garage Demo

So when we first got here, we had this tiny little garage, and it was so small Bart could even for his car in there.  It was more like a shed.  Our landlord John does one big project a year on the house.  This year was the garage.  ITs interesting to see how they do things here.  Had we been in the states, they would have just demolished the garage and started over.  Not here.  First the took out the doors and windows.  Then they had to separate the wall from the roof.  They then pulled the wall down with a tractor.  I have a picture of it, I just cant find it at the moment. Here is Joachim cutting into the concret.  The walls are ridiculous.  Those gray bricks, with steel rods inside, and then concrete poured into that.  Makes for one tough wall!

Here is Tony, (he is from Lithuania) breaking up the pieces of the wall they took down. Here they have extended the garage forward, and are starting to re-roof the new section.
